Binder WT-400

 

Binder WT-400 is self cross-linking acrylic co-polymer emulsion. It gives soft and durable film properties. It has excellent thermal and mechanical stability, which gives it superior running properties. This has a special acrylic system, which gives good wet rubbing fastness. Even on viscous, high twisted cotton and synthetic blends over conventional binders.

4. Solids : 46% + 1%.

5. Miscibility : good in water.

 

Application

Binder WT-940

 

Binder WT-940 is a self, cross-linking and self-thickening acrylic emulsion having soft, durable film properties with excellent thermal and mechanical stability. Binder WT-940 is used mainly in the fields of Textile Flocking, Pearl Printing & Khadi Printing.

 

TYPICAL PROPERTIES

 

Appearance : Milky white liquid

Chemical Contents : Acrylic Emulsion

Solid Contents : 50% + 1%

Emulsifying System : Anionic

pH (when packed) : 2.50

Storage : Protect from freezing

Curing Temperature : 150 degree C.

Curing Time : 5-7 minutes

 

Binder WT-940 being self cross-linking acrylic emulsion, catalyst is not needed to achieve durability to washing and dry cleaning. However, to increase the rate of cross-linking under the normal conditions of curing, catalyst is recommended.

 

APPLICATION

 

Binder WT-940 is used mainly for Pearl printing, Khadi printing & Flock printing.

Binder WTLN

 

Binder WTLN is a pigment printing binder.

It is milky white, free flowing & stable acrylic co-polymer emulsion.

 

TYPICAL PROPERTIES

 

1. Appearance : Milky white liquid.

2. Solid : 38% + 1%

3. Particle size : Very fine

4. Mechanical stability : Excellent

5. pH : 7 to 8

6. pH stability : 2 to 10

7. Dilution : Can be diluted with water

8. Compatibility : Compatible with water & pigment emulsio

9. Pigment stability : Very Good

10. Nature : Non-ionic

 

It shows following outstanding qualities.

 

1. Pleasing handle and surface coating.

2. Increase in fabric strength & resistant to wear & abrasion resulting in longer life of fabrics.

3. Resistance to soiling.

4. Fabric bonding.

5. Back filling of pile fabrics.

6. Production of permanent embossed effect on cotton and rayon fabrics.

7. Extra ordinary bonding agents for pigment resulting permanent wash & rub fastness.

 

After fixation by curing or dry steaming the binder film will continue to ripen for another 24 hours before the process is completed. Fastness tests, therefore should be conducted only after this period of time has elapsed.

USAGE AND TECHNICAL PROPERTIES

 

1. Gold Binder WTGN has been specially developed for printing Gold and Silver prints.

2. Unlike other commonly available binder preparations for printing Gold/Silver, this binder has unique quality of producing bright Gold/Silver effects with very soft handle in addition to high fastness property.

3. It is necessary to homogenize the contents of packing with thorough hand-stirring with the help of a wooden paddle like flat stick. Mechanical stirring is avoided to eliminate risk of foaming.

4. Ideally pretreated fabric having a neutral pH helps to get prints having brightness with long durability.
